For some reenactors, role-playing comes to take on a ritual significance.

I know some groups don't really like the magazine, but the Camp Chase Gazette is a good place to look things up. I personally don't get it, but 'stole' a few copies with naval articles form the Reg. Band.

I used to get the Camp Chase Gazette at one time, but the publication was almost too political to handle sometimes. I did serve a good purpose for passing on information about CW events and other such stuff, but I think they tended to wnder off track on occassion.

On a related note, I'd also suggest the Civil War Times. A lot of decent photos and articles.
